In Martín Berdugo we like simplicity, we love what we do and we want to share the pleasure. For people new to the pleasures of wine, we want them to discover and enjoy wine through the quality of our wines. For wine enthusiasts and wine lovers who already know wine, we surprise them with a fresh and lively style of wine. We want to knock down the barriers, wave goodbye to prejudices, demystify wine, change the image from an elite product to a high quality product accessible to everyone. Wine is for enjoying in company, bringing people closer together… and most of all for improving communication and understanding.

Martin Berdugo Verdejo 2007

Appearance: Pale yellow with hints of greens. Bright and clean.
Nose: Honest aroma, fresh and fruity with critic and flowery notes.
Taste:

Well structured, balanced acidity with a lingering finish and a bitter aftertaste, a distinctive quality of Verdejo wines.

Variety: 100% Verdejo
Alcoholic Grade: 12.5%
Presentation: Cardboard box of 12 bottles (0,75l)
Serving Temperature: Between 6º – 8º C
Recommended Consumption: One year.
Food Match: An excellent aperitif, perfect with salads, fish, seafood and rice.


Martin Berdugo Rose Wine 2007

Appearance: Strawberry pink with cherry glints, it is gleaming and darker than conventional rosé wines.
Nose: Intense fresh fruit aromas evoking sweet strawberries, raspberry, with slight hints of wild honey, some banana, citrus fruits and biscuit finish.
Taste:

This a velvety and fresh wine, well balanced with a pleasant taste and a long finish. Surprise your senses with its cheerful and lively taste.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Alcoholic Grade: 13%
Vinification: The must is macerated for a minimum of 36 hours in stainless steel tanks at rigourously controlled temperatures.
Presentation: Cardboard box of 12 bottles (0.75 l).
Serving Temperature:

11º C

Recommended Consumption: One year.
Food Match: White meat, fish, pasta and vegetables.


Martin Berdugo Joven 2010

Appearance: Attractive bright cherry red wine with some glints of purple and violet nuances which express its young soul.
Nose: Fruity and fresh nose, red berry, strawberry and floral nuances.
Taste:

Fruity and fresh flavours immediately appear. Good balance between acidic and sweet tannins.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo Acl : 13.5% Autochthonous yeast.
Alcoholic Fermentation: 7 days at 22ºC
Malolactic Fermentation: 15- 20 days in stainless steel tanks.
Presentation: Cardboard box of 12 bottles (0.75 l).
Serving Temperature:

16º C

Recommended Consumption: Two year.
Food Match: Any kind of meat, fish, roasts, etc.


Martin Berdugo Barrica 2009

Appearance: Ruby to cherry red colour. Some glints of purple and violet.
Nose: Aromatic intensity. Initial tasting we have nuances of forest fruits (blackberry, mulberry and liquorice). Followed by a hint of vanilla and dark roasted notes. After that, some hints of dark roasted and vanilla notes.
Mouth:

Velvety and pleasant. The tannins are round, sweet and well balanced, with a hint of toasted oak.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo Alc/Vol: 13.8% Autochthonous yeast.
Alcoholic Fermentation: 12 days at 23ºC.
Malolactic Fermentation: 15- 20 days in stainless steel tanks
Ageing: 4 months in American and French oak barrels.
Serving Temperature:

17º C

Recommended Consumption: Four year.
Food Match: Any kind of meat, roast, fish.


Martin Berdugo Crianza 2008

Appearance: Cherry red with a bluish rim. Bright and clean.
Nose: Intense fresh fruit aromas with hints of vanilla, toasted sensations and cacao notes.
Taste:

Well structured. It delivers great concentration and persistence of red fruit. The tannins are round and sweet, soft and well balanced with a lingering finish. Very promising.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo Acl : 14% Autochthonous yeast.
Alcoholic Fermentation: 18 days at 25º
Malolactic Fermentation: 15- 20 days in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing: 12 months in new American and French oak barrels.
Presentation: Cardboard box of 6 and 12 bottles; (0.75l).
Cardboard box of 6 and 12 bottles; (0.50l).
Magnum bottle of 1.5l.
Serving Temperature:

18º C

Recommended Consumption: Six year.
Food Match: Any kind of meat cheese, game and cold cuts.


Martin Berdugo mb 2005

Appearance: Deep cherry colour. Dark garnet with ruby-red rim
Nose: Intense ripe flavours of red forest fruits and gooseberry mixed with spicy tones (nutmeg and a slight hint of pepper, vanilla and cinnamon). Evocative of a forest with agreeable toasted notes on a complex finish of tobacco and cacao. Elegant and powerful.
Taste:

A fruity compote of sweet ripe tannins which provide a long and agreeable finish. Mineral and balsamic hints make this a velvety and elegant wine.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Alcoholic Grade: 14%
Vinification: This wine has been elaborated with selected grapes from highly controlled areas of the vineyard. After a manual selection of the bunches and grapes, the berries are taken to the cellar where a modern process of pre-fermentation takes place during 4 days at 6ºC followed by a long fermentative maceration for about 18 days.
Alcoholic Fermentation: In stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.
Malolactic Fermentation: It takes place in new French oak barrels.
Ageing: 16 months in new French oak barrels.
Presentation: Cardboard box of 6 bottles.
Serving Temperature:

18º C

Recommended Consumption: Ten years.
Food Match: Red and Gamey meats, cold cuts.
