1/2/2011 Potro de Piedra 2005 received 90 Points in The Wine Advocate Magazine:  This is Requinqua’s first appearance on The Wine Advocate radar screen. The 2005 Potro de Piedra is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. It delivers a pleasing nose of violets, tobacco, sage, blackcurrant, and blackberry. On the palate, it is reminiscent of a good quality Cru Bourgeois revealing plenty of spicy fruit, a firm structure, and a lengthy finish. It will evolve for 1-2 years and offer peak drinking from 2012 to 2020.
